UOUU: User-Object Distance and User-User Distance Combined Method for Collaboration Task

نویسندگان

چکیده

Augmented reality superimposes digital information onto objects in the physical world and enables multi-user collaboration. Despite that previous proxemic interaction research has explored many applications of user-object distance user-user an augmented context, respectively, combining both types can improve efficiency users’ perception with task collaborators by providing users insight into spatial relations user-task object user-user, less is concerned about how two distances be simultaneously adopted to assist collaboration tasks across multi-users. To fulfill gap, we present UOUU, combined method for dynamically assigning users. We conducted empirical studies investigate affected user terms occurrence overall efficiency. The results show significantly improves speed accuracy as well frequencies occurrences. study also confirms method’s effects on stimulating activities, UOUU effectively reduced participants’ perceived workload moving during tasks. Implications generalising use are discussed.

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Internet-Enabled User Interfaces for Distance Learning

The advent of Internet technologies since decades ago has propelled distance learning drastically. In this modern world, knowledge develops so fast that the amount of intellectual information that needs to be learnt before it becomes obsolete again is so huge. Distance learning through the use of Internet technologies has the advantage of being able to get across the information to the students...

Distance-based database user sessions clustering

It has been brought into attention that analysis of task-oriented database user sessions provides useful insight into the query behavior of database users. A database user session is a sequence of queries issued by a user (or an application) to achieve a certain task. It consists of one or more database transactions, which are in turn a sequence of operations performed as a logical unit of work...

Developer–User Social Distance as a Guiding Concept for User Involvement

Social media changes the conditions for user involvement in service development. Active user communities, fast paced iterative development after market launch, developer access to users’ digital trails, and low cost software distribution are well known facets that bring substantial changes. This paper articulates how these and other changes shape user involvement routines, including usability e...

Flexible user interfaces that can be customized to meet the needs of the task at hand are particularly important for telecollaboration. This paper presents the design and implementation of a user interface for DISCIPLE, a platform-independent telecollaboration framework. DISCIPLE supports sharing of Java components that are imported into the shared workspace at run-time, and can be interconnect...
